Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention, a trance state, in which wider environmental stimuli may be ignored.
We go into and out of trance and daydream many times a day and this is completely natural. We can be in a trance when listening to music, watching a film, driving a car or when deeply in thought.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses the trance state, the focused state of awareness, to achieve specific goals; we focus on solutions, rather than dwelling on the problems.

When we have a specific goal in mind in a focused awareness, all the abilities of our conscious mind and the vast resources of the subconscious mind are activated to achieve that goal.
